Paintings on Paper

All my abstract paintings are created in acrylics, with various drawing media. I do not plan ahead or work from reference, but allow the work to evolve. As a result of this process, I have become intrigued by the relationship between the secret world of the subconscious and creative mark-making; between apparently random choices and conscious decision-making. All my paintings contain visible traces of their process. It is important to me that the ‘artist’s hand’ is apparent in the finished piece.
