Drawings

Drawing is a fundamental element that underpins everything I do. I love the immediacy of the mark-making and working with my fingers: feeling at one with the work. I especially like to draw in chalk pastels and conte. Sometimes these drawings are as entirely abstract as the paintings, occasionally they are also representational, to varying degrees.
