I am interested in the process of harnessing creativity, the balance between conscious decision-making, instinct and randomness. Recent projects explore my relationship with the symptoms of Aphantasia (having no mind’s eye), especially memory loss, probing the difference between what is known to have happened and what is truly remembered, examining the spaces between perception and recall. I also enjoy regular art/science collaborations, working with academics from different disciplines. This helps to keep my work fresh and in a state of creative evolution.
